Abstract
Posits in a lecture that the history of feminism needs to be written and recorded along the lines of an unfolding pagent in which the different concerns, organizations and anecdotes which document major and minor roles played by various women and men are jotted down and pooled as the story of feminism. The unfoldng story of Caribbean feminism is riddled with the same contradcitory characteristics placed on womanhood. Retelling the story will reveal a script than that to do with gender relations between men and women. Some of this retelling is already being done by many Caribbean feminist scholars and activists, whose works are referred to in the lecture.....
